Cicero is a male anthropomorphic skunk. He has dark grey fur and a white stripe from his nose upwards and down the center of his back which splits into two white stripes on his tail. His belly fur is slightly lighter than the rest. He has brown eyes, and a pair of glasses on his muzzle. His hair is also white, and often tied back in a pony tail.
He is a quiet Philosopher, when he isn’t singing songs with his mate Calumet. He can be hedonistic but he is very respectful of other’s boundaries. He tends to mind his own business, and doesn’t really get involved in the day to day news around the towns. Like any good bard, he loves to just sit and play his music and tell his stories.
Skunks in the world tend to be ostracized over their scent spray. While they can consciously control it, there are times under social stress where they cannot. Because of that, skunks tend to keep to their own species. In recent years skunks at a young age tend to undergo a surgical procedure to remove the scent glands from their body to help them socially with the other animals. While some skunks have their scent glands intact, Cicero had his removed as a young kit.
Cicero was a loud and spunky kit. He was very curious, always trying to learn about new things. He was captivated by the elder Skunk’s stories of mephit-kind. He would sing along to their songs and tales of yore. One of the elder’s let him play the drum after the songs and he really took an interest to it. His grandfather Halstead taught him how to play the drums. (Keep in mind this not a drum set like the one you would see in a rock concert, this is more like an indigenous bongo drum) that set forth his lifelong love of music and storytelling.
Nowadays, he is a bard and has a band with his mate Calumet. He sings and plays the drums while Calumet plays string instruments. The two met at a drum circle group meditation, and they quickly became friends and later mates. They sing and perform together in their travels.
