Appearance

Artemis is a fat, anthropomorphic, male fire dragon with medium length auburgine hair. His scales are a blood red, darker than Marie the Foxy's fur, with a salmon underbelly. He wears metal gauntlets on his arms, and metal collar anklets around his ankles. His red scales would make him a fire element dragon.

Personality

Artemis is aloof, arrogant, and impatient. He thinks he’s charismatic but he really isn't. He believes that dragons are a superior life form compared to other animals, and he is also misogynistic, which is unusual for dragon society. Dragon society does not have traditional sex roles, males and females can do any task with the exception of childbirth of course, other than that dragon society is fully egalitarian. This makes Artemis an outlier in this regard.

Fire Dragons are known to have a short temper and Artemis is no exception to this. He lashes out at Charlotte when she refuses to go along with him. He’s even been known to spar with other fire and air dragons; he’s a bully through and through.

He calls mammals "furballs", "fuzz balls" and other slurs of that nature. He sees them as inferior to dragons.

Bio

When Charlotte was a child, he was one of the dragons who teased her for not being a "real dragon" because of her wing size. It was a common thing in dragon society at the time. They had an “only the strongest will survive” mentality.

He wasn’t a popular dragon, after all while his beliefs of dragons being superior over all the other animals, and his desires to take what he wants made him unpopular among most dragons. Many dragon women had no interest in his antics. He later took an interest in the dragon he bullied as a young dragon, he couldn't believe that she would have died, a dragon could easily survive that fall.

He figured that she would be easy to make his own since she likely couldn’t find any other dragons to mate with. He had a devious plan... He would head out from Draconia to find her. One thing he quickly discovered is Charlotte is not as weak and helpless as he thought she is…
