Appearance

Sally is a curvy, pear-shaped, anthropomorphic horse. Her fur is brown with the exception of a light cream streak on the bridge of her muzzle, as well as on her palms and soles of her feet. Her fingers and hooves are a grey color, her feet are a modified hoof/foot design so like every other anthropomorphic creature she walks plantigrade rather than digitigrade. Her mane and tail are black. The shins and lower parts of her arms, as well as her hands and feet are a darker grayish brown. Her eyes are blue, and her eyeshadow is a violet color.

She has a few string bracelets on her right hand, a small pewter horseshoe necklace, and a tribal style bead anklet.

Personality

Sally is dependable, down to earth, cheerful, and always wanting to help out. She is very even tempered and is slow to anger. She is quite curious about new things and about the world outside of her farm and the plains. She can be a bit headstrong at times and stubborn from time to time. She is a hard worker, and was raised from an early age with a strong work ethic, “A good horse always works hard and never quits ‘till the job’s done”

Bio

Sally was born on, and works on her family’s farm. The acreage is divided up amongst her family and she has her own section of land. She has two older brothers with their own section of the farm to work on, Sally’s deals with hay and wheat mostly.

One day when Sally was working in the fields, she looked over into the woods on the edge of their property and spotted a large teal green lizard wandering around, Sally went over to go see, and she came across Charlotte dragon. Charlotte had never seen a horse that walked upright before, as the horses she had seen in past were the feral kind. (Both feral and anthropomorphic horses exist in this world and both are considered a separate species that split off from a common ancestor) Likewise Sally had never seen a dragon before in her life, they were usually in fairy tales and legends and usually they were seen as aggressive beasts that destroy things, so for her to see Charlotte, a friendly dragon, took some time to get used to as well.

Once the initial shock of seeing each other wore off, the two quickly became friends. Charlotte when she is in the area always comes down to visit Sally at her farm. The other horses initially were fearful of Charlotte. Dragons are not a very common animal in the plains region; if you spend most of your life in the same town, seeing a creature that looks very different and talks very differently from everyone else you know will be unusual. However she is received well, as many of them love to hear her stories of the places beyond their farms.

Sally often daydreams of the world beyond her farm, but due to family and farming obligations she is unable to travel much outside of her town and farm. She hopes one day to be able to travel freely the way her friend Charlotte does. Her immediate family are well meaning but overprotective of her and her siblings because the family farm would wither and die without anyone there to tend to it.
